Welcome to Swagyu! Direct from our farms to your dinner table, we are a member-based club committed to supporting local production and consumption of 100% Japanese Black Wagyu and Akaushi (Japanese Brown/Red). Family owned and located in East Texas, we want to share with you our sustainable and ethical approach to raising and harvesting cattle.
Our Japanese Wagyu cattle are hand-fed daily, massaged regularly, and raised in a low-stress, open environment. We take pride in raising quality Wagyu without the use of hormones or antibiotics. Using 100% Japanese foundation genetics, our Wagyu cattle are nurtured and raised in East Texas. Every harvested animal is a work of art that takes 4 years to produce. We are committed to providing a high standard of care for our cattle and believe their well-being correlates with the quality of beef harvested.
Here at Swagyu we support minimizing environmental impact while promoting economic growth for local farmers and businesses. Our boxes offer a variety of Wagyu cuts such as Boneless Ribeye, Flat Iron Steak, Boneless Short Ribs, Bacon, and Ground Beef. We pride ourselves in delivering the finest Wagyu with exceptional Beef Marble Scores (BMS).

The Faces behind the Box
Growing up together in the outskirts of Austin, Texas, Joe Sanches and Loren Trux bonded over their desire for entrepreneurship from a very young age. While Joe moved to California with his wife Rachel and spent 10 years working with food and packaged goods, Loren and his wife Christian moved to East Texas. As Christian began her career as an Emergency Room physician, they also began to dabble in farming. In the wake of a wild 2020, the Sanches' (now a family of 5) returned to Texas to collaborate with the Trux's (now a family of 4) who had begun raising Wagyu at their ranch in 2017. They collaborated for the launch of Swagyu – a subscription-based service to deliver the highest quality of Japanese Wagyu beef to your doorstep.
